Our Favorite Restaurants in Salt Lake City

Eating out at a nice restaurant is one of the easiest ways to have a great time. This is true whether you are on a hot date, with a group of friends or even when you are riding solo. Unfortunately, some of us are not so good at choosing where to eat. It involves more than somewhere that serves good food. A good restaurant serves decent food but a great restaurant ensures they have the right ambience, music and customer service, in order to make the food more enjoyable.

If you have the responsibility to choose the next restaurant for your friends to meet up, have a business diner coming up or a date, the pressure to choose well can be overwhelming. But don’t worry. I’ve got you covered. Let’s review some of our favourite restaurants in Salt Lake City together.  For more information on SLC click here.

The Roof Restaurant

If you are interested in a fine dining restaurant, there is no better option than The Roof Restaurant. Just imagine how beautiful this city is when looking down at the lights from the roof of very tall building. Well, I can tell you from experience that the view is magnificent. This restaurant serves delicious American style food and also has vegetarian and gluten free options. Unfortunately, because of the number of reservations this restaurant gets per night, they often put a cap of 90 minutes on the amount of time you can send there. Still, it makes for a unique dining experience that you will not soon forget.

Bambara

Bambara, which is located on South Main street, is another great restaurant. The menu includes a mixture of American and International dishes. They also make accommodation for vegetarians and others with special dietary requirements. I would recommend that you definitely try the corn bisque or the steak frites. Bambara may be a bit pricey, but the chef and staff are not only well trained they are also very inventive and go the extra mile to create a unique dining experience for each patron.

Takashi

Takashi is a great option if you are in the mood for Japanese or Asian cuisine. The menu is affordably priced and has a wide variety of options. The food is often described as exceptional and it is located in a historic, yet beautiful building Downtown. Plus, Takashi has a reputation for ensuring that patrons do not have to wait long to receive what they order. That is always a plus in my book.

Settebello Pizzeria

There is no better place to go than Settebello Pizzeria when you are in the mood for Italian. The proprietors certainly know what it means to give value for money. The food, the atmosphere and the service are all exceptional. I especially love the fact that so much emphasis is placed on creating unique pizza toppings. Some have even gone as far saying that this is the best place to get pizza outside of Italy.

Market Street Grill

I think Market Street Grill has the best seafood in town. The clam chowder is hands down one of the most memorable items on the menu. Best of all, the food is fresh and served with a smile.
