Where to Eat in Ogden Utah

Where to Eat in Ogden Utah

As a hard working professional, I take eating out very seriously. If I am in the mood for just a ‘decent meal,’ I cook at home. When I spend my hard earned money to eat out, I am expecting something fabulous. This includes a delicious meal that is also well plated and pleasant interactions with the staff. The ambience of the restaurant should also be one that enhances the overall experience of dining at the restaurant. My requirements are not unique and I am sure you look for the same things in a restaurant as well. Please take a look at some of the restaurants in Ogden, Utah that I have found to be worth my while.  Other great restaurants in Ogden.

1. Windy’s Sukiyaki

Windy’s is by far the best Japanese restaurant in town. The food will knock your socks off and the menu offers such a wide variety that even picky eaters are bound to find something that excites them. It also doesn’t hurt that this restaurant is more affordable than the competition nearby. Windy’s also comes highly recommended because the food is always artfully plated and made from fresh ingredients. The locals love it here and will readily admit they have been eating there for many years. Customers that loyal are a good indication this restaurant is doing something right.

2. The Bickering Sisters

Sibling rivalry is not something that usually comes to mind when thinking of delicious food. Oddly enough, that is exactly what you will find at this American style café. This Grant Avenue restaurant is the best place to go when you are craving a well-made sandwich or some yummy French toast. Many often use this quaint little café for family brunches or business breakfasts. In addition to the food, the staff here are usually very attentive and friendly.

3. Kaffe Mercantile

This is another oddly named eatery that the locals love. Kaffee Mercantile is regarded as the best place in Ogden to get well brewed coffee. This coffee shop is cozy and well situated on a relatively quiet street in Ogden. This is the kind of spot where the owners make time to come out and greet their customers. Kaffe Mercantile also makes awesome quiche and muffins that are sure to make you forget your diet.

4. No Frills Diner

As the name suggests, this is my kind of restaurant! I am always impressed when a restaurant boldly agrees to let their food speak for itself. The food here is well portioned and is served piping hot since each meal is done to order. The restaurant itself has a 50s theme and the staff are very friendly. You will love being here and leave feeling satisfied.

5. Piccolo’s Pizza and Restaurant

If you ever find yourself on Washington Boulevard, there is no better place to satisfy your inner Italian. The staff fully understands the concept of authentic Italian food and they serve it up fresh every day. If you are in the mood for something new, I would suggest that you give the pepperoni and hard salami combination a try. But don’t worry if you are trying to watch your weight. They serve salads too.
