Best Salt Lake City Shopping

Shopping is one of the greatest pleasures of life. Whether male or female, who of us does not enjoy getting new things for ourselves and our families? Shopping is even more fulfilling when you know you got a good deal or the customer services rep was exceptionally helpful. Good stores are becoming even harder to find these days, so please allow me to share details about the best stores in Salt Lake City.

Two of the best shopping malls in Salt Lake City are The Gateway and City Creek Center. The Gateway is awesome because it has great stores, a variety of food shops and artsy outdoor seating to help you to recuperate before returning to your shopping. Whether you are into books or designer dresses, there’s bound to be something for you to buy. This mall also has a movie theatre and a lot of other entertainment options. Unfortunately, a lot of stores have closed their doors and moved to the City Creek Center since its opening. The City Center has all of the same features of The Gateway, just a lot more stores and thus, more variety.

Harmons City Creek is your one stop shop for gifts, specialty items and groceries. You can get a lot done here with just one trip. Many often compare this store to Wholefoods and it is little wonder why. The produce is fresh and crisp, the variety seems endless and the store is immaculately clean.  You will be quite impressed when you first walk through the doors of this store. Plus, parking is free once you make a purchase in the store.

If you are a bookworm like me, you will also enjoy paying a visit to The King’s English Bookshop. This is one of the only book stores in town to receive a 5 star rating online. The store is well laid out and the books are organized by genre in the various rooms of the store. It is one thing to find a bookstore with a wide selection but it is even more impressive when the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. This bookstore will not disappoint.

State Wine Store is a quaint little specialty shop with a collection of domestic and imported liquor that will knock your socks off! Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. This store is not very far from Downtown and even if you are from out of town, it will not be hard for you to find. I don’t think you should miss out on the opportunity to check this store out.

Utah Artist Hands is an art gallery, museum and specialty gift shop all in one. A delicately framed painting or intricately decorated vase can add a touch of class to any home and this exactly the place to get them. You can also find handcrafted jewellery and other treasures at this store. Many have been so happy to visit this store that they regarded the trip as the highlight of their visit to Salt Lake City. Why not take a look inside this store and then let me know what you think?
