Best Shops in Ogden and Where to Find Them

Shopping is usually fun no matter where in the world you go. It however becomes a tad inconvenient when you are not quite sure where to go. Visiting a new city can make even enjoyable activities like shopping seem like quite a task. But that will not be the case the next time you visit Ogden, Utah. Click here for more Ogden shop info. 1. New World Distillery

If you are in the mood to buy some premium spirits, this is the place to go. This distillery has made it their duty to not only to produce excellent liquer but also to honor the origin of each of them by ensuring they stick to its original taste and quality.  New World Distillery has also made the commitment to produce their spirits while remaining responsible stewards of the environment. The label for each spirit thus does not utilize any paper and a local artist is selected to carefully craft the details on each bottle. If you are ever in Ogden Valley, please do not pass them by.

1. Alpine Sports

Alpine Sports is located at 1165 Patterson and it is one of the best locally owned sports stores in Ogden. You can tell that the locals really love this store since they have been supporting it for well over 50 years. This is the place to get snowboarding and skiing gear of the highest quality. They are fully aware of how expensive vacation trips can be and they offer the option to either purchase or buy your gear. Another great feature of this store is that they offer free demonstrations to help you to properly utilize the gear and keep safe. That way you will have no reservations about anything you buy here.

1. Ailulia

Alilulia down on 25^th Street is a cute little store that seems to have just about everything. They sell a number of gift items for a variety of occasions, candy and other sweet treats. You can also visit this store if you are looking for accent furniture, fragrances or bath and body products. Plus, if you run out of clothes during your trip, you can stop here to get a full outfit and accessories.

1. Rainbow Gardens

This beautiful, historic site is one of the must see landmarks when you visit Ogden and also a great place to shop. This place has been a visitor hot spot since the 1890’s. It was designed to capitalize on the many visitors who came to avail themselves of the health benefits of dipping in the natural hot springs around the Ogden Canyon. It has since blossomed into a great place to shop for food and gifts. There are also tons of ways to entertain yourself and your family at the Rainbow Gardens.

1. The Local Artisan Collective

The Local Artisan Collective is located on Kiesel Avenue in The Junction area. This place is a must see when you are ready to start buying gifts and souvenirs. Most of the gift items in the store were hand crafted by local artisans and thus can be considered as unique collector’s items.  These items include hand blown glass, pottery, homemade soaps, antique furniture and upcycled clothes. If you have an artistic side, you can also sign yourself up for one of the demo classes held here as well. All in all, you are in for a good trip.
